1. Swedana - In Ayurveda, "Swedana" refers to a therapeutic process that involves inducing sweating. It is one of the important components of Panchakarma, which is a set of five detoxification and purification treatments. Swedana is used to balance the doshas, primarily Vata and Kapha, by opening up the body's channels and promoting the removal of toxins through sweat. 
There are various methods of Swedana, such as Bashpa Sweda (Steam Therapy), Upanaha Sweda (Poultice Therapy), Pinda Sweda (Bolus Therapy), Nadi Sweda (Jet Steam). Swedana is a cleansing-cum-stress relieving therapy recommended for patients suffering from ailments such as asthma, weight and digestion issues, and body inflammation. 
2. Udvarthana - Udvartana is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that involves a full-body massage using herbal powders.  Types of Basti:
 ● Anuvasana Basti: Uses oil-based enemas and is nourishing and strengthening. It is usually administered in the evening.
 ● Niruha Basti: Uses decoction or herbal concoctions and is purifying and cleansing. It is administered on an empty stomach.
